First Session: June 6-12, 2011. Second Session: July 28-August 3, 2011

Directed by Geoff Roes - 2009 & 2010 "Ultrarunner of the Year."

Located in Southeast Alaska and surrounded by seemingly endless mountain wilderness, Juneau is a trail and mountain running paradise. This camp is intended for experienced trail, ultra, and mountain runners of all ability levels, and will be focused on exploring this paradise. Participants will have the opportunity to run through dense rainforest, along pristine coastline, and high up on alpine ridges overlooking glaciers and snow capped mountains that stretch on for miles.

Please read through the information on this site before deciding if this is the camp for you. Be aware though that space is limited to 12-16 participants per session so please sign up early to reserve your spot.

It is with bitter sweetness that we have made the tough decision to forego another session of camp. We had intended for 2020 to be our final year and we all know how things turned out that year. We really hoped and intended to do one last session once it felt safe to do so but with each year removed from the process it became a little more complicated logistically and energetically to pull it off.  This has brought us to now where we have decided it is time to officially call it quits. We want to extend a huge amount of gratitude to everyone who helped make these sessions happen over the years. We did more than 20 sessions over the span of 9 years and we deeply enjoyed every one of them. We cherish the people we met in this process. Thank you so much to everyone who touched these camps in any way over the years. We loved connecting with every one of you through this shared love of running, mountains, and life in general. Best wishes, Geoff and Corle
